SCIENCE WEEKLY VOCABULARY

Mouth. Digestion starts in the MOUTH and finishes in the anus.

Esophagus. The ESOPHAGUS connects the mouth to the stomach.

Small intestine. In the SMALL INTESTINE nutrients from the food pass into the blood.

Large intestine. The LARGE INTESTINE is where substances are eliminated from the body.

Stomach. In the STOMACH, food is mixed into a pulp.

Anus. Digestion starts in the mouth and finishes in the ANUS.

Nutrition. NUTRITION is the process of taking food into the body.

Digestive system. The DIGESTIVE SYSTEM breaks down the food we eat.

Digestion. 

Respiration.

Excretion.
